Are you suffering from screen apnea?

by Truevine

Did you know that staring at a computer screen can cause you to breathe more shallow and even hold your breath? Focusing on the screen, especially in meetings where we see ourselves (hello Zoom!) or are intensely concentrating, decreases the number of times we sigh or breathe deeply.

Be mindful of breathing deeply into your belly for three breaths when switching to a new task. Hide your Self View in meetings so you can see others, but they can’t see you. Take frequent breaks and look into the distance. Focus on the exhale to relax your shoulders.
